Rethinking Punishment
It is important to identify student behavior that impedes learning and apply interventions that promote positive student attitudes to earning and teach social skills. Participants will recognize the need to understand and implement appropriate interventions.
Making Parents and Guardians Partners in Educating Students
Research studies have affirmed what educators know: students do better in school when families are engaged as partners. This session will help educators be able to engage parents using research-based strategies; utilize strategies to address diversity; and implement two-way communication with parents.
